the wait.

rusty joints.
a feel of a thousand years old and one.
sounds of horror breaking through the night like a scream of pain.
utter pain and hurt.
Dog howling in the garden behind the tree of sorrow.
calling unto us that come. come, and howl with me.
Howl that there ain't no tomorrow till today is gone.
and as we're waiting, tell me about your sins.
hands cringe in the silence, as we remember.
thunder strikes in the sky, as the sound of the birds rushing unto their nests disturbs the still.
the darkness of all crushed souls collide
as the wind blows the branches of pity we hide under.
suddenly, lights flicker from a distance, that someone's alive.
a stream of lit candles floods my heart.
and I see them coming.
I reach my arm out but it doesn't move.
rusty joints.
a feel of a thousand years old and one.
I try to scream that help me.
sounds of horror breaking through the night like a scream of pain.
utter pain and hurt.
I reach my arm out to cry.
rusty joints.
a thousand years old.
I scream my lungs out that help me.
sounds of horror like a scream of pain.
reach my arm out.
rusty joints. a feel of a thousand years old.
scream my lungs out.
breaking through the night like a scream of pain.
reach my arm out.
a thousand years old.
i cry, that help me.
only sounds of horror.
my arm out.
a feel of a thousand years old.
that help me.
sounds of horror.
that help.
scream of pain.

utter pain.

and hurt.

And the light passes by and misses me.
and I keep howling with a dog.
behind a tree of sorrow.
waiting for the light.
that helps me.
